Dr. Asemissen built the collection that forms the heart of Digital Campus Hematology and annotated every case. Her work helps learners find significant details while giving them the freedom to examine each specimen for themselves.

As a hematologist with extensive cytomorphology experience, she brings the perspective of daily diagnostic practice to the collection. From normal bone marrow to rare findings, her annotations invite learners to look carefully, compare what they see, and understand the reasoning behind an observation.
